Turning
compassion
into care.
Our programs connect dog owners, veterinarians, and community partners to ensure every pet can access life-enhancing care — regardless of cost.
For the Love of Chin offers support that goes beyond financial aid. We provide education, partnerships, and a strong network of care so every dog — especially Japanese Chin — can live a healthier, happier life.
Three ways we make a difference.
Our work centers on three core initiatives that bring financial relief, knowledge, and collaboration, to those who need it most. Each program addresses a unique part of the care journey — from helping pay medical bills to empowering owners with trusted information and connections.
Financial Assistance for Veterinary Care
Chin Care Relief Fund

The Chin Care Relief Fund helps responsible dog owners afford the specialty or integrative veterinary treatments their canine fur-babies need. From diagnostics and medications to specialty procedures, we provide financial support paid directly to veterinary providers. Our goal is simple: make sure no dog is denied care because of financial hardship.

Education & Advocacy
Healthy Paws Learning Network

Knowledge saves lives. Through our Healthy Paws Learning Network, we help owners make confident, informed decisions about veterinary care. Resources include vet endorsed one-page condition guides, articles, and webinars that highlight both specialty medicine and integrative options. By bridging science and compassion, we empower pet owners to advocate for their dogs with clarity and confidence.

Community Partnerships
Paws Together Collaborative

No one changes lives alone. The Paws Together Collaborative builds relationships with veterinarians, rescues, and shelters to expand access to affordable, integrative care. Through joint events, low-cost wellness days, and cooperative outreach, we ensure more dogs receive treatment and support — while strengthening the local network of advocates who share our mission.

Together, we make care possible.
Each program is powered by donors, volunteers, and veterinary partners who believe every dog deserves a chance to heal and thrive. Your contribution directly supports treatment funding, education, and outreach across Western Pennsylvania.
